Description

Provides care coordination and family training on palliative care principals, medical treatment regimens, medical equipment use, how to provide in-home care, and expressive therapies (art, music, and play). Pediatric palliative care may also include skilled respite and family grief counseling/bereavement counseling, both during the patient's life and for up to six months in the event of the patient's death.
