Description

Provides free and confidential emotional support, advocacy, and referrals to 2STLGBQIA+ Vermonters who have experienced violence, including domestic, sexual, or hate violence, bias, workplace or housing harassment or discrimination, trafficking, or stalking. The SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program works in trauma-sensitive ways with 2STLGBQIA+ survivors of violence & harm and 2STLGBQ+ people who cause violence and harm.

Pride Center of Vermont is a non-profit social justice organization that provides educational, recreational, and support programs for 2STLGBQIA+ Vermonters, and information, resources, and events. 2STLGBQIA+ means Two Spirit, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, HIV+. Two-Spirit refers to specific gender roles, not sexual orientations, of many Native American and Alaska Native peoples that don't fall into a conventional gender binary.Intersex is an umbrella term for differences in sex traits or reproductive anatomy.
