Description

Provides social services that include Information and Referral for families who are separated and/or have relocated, and Emergency Communication Services that, in family emergency cases such as critical accident, illness or death, will verify the situation and relay an emergency leave request to military authorities. Provides Health and Wellness Inquiries Services that allow for worldwide communications to report on the welfare of a service member.

The American Red Cross is a non-profit, international humanitarian organization that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. The American Red Cross - Northern New England Region serves all of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont where it sponsors regular blood drives, home safety education, fire prevention information, and volunteer training.
