Description

Offers a diversion-like program that connects individuals with substance misuse, mental health, and other community-based service supports, regardless of the participants criminal history, with the aim of improving the person's health and reducing future adverse involvement in the justice system. Successful completion of program results in a dismissal of the criminal charge.

Washington County Diversion Program (WCDP) is a local, non-profit organization that provides a range of restorative justice programs for Washington County. WCDP runs six separate programs, including adult and youth Court Diversion, Youth Substance Abuse Safety program, and Balanced and Restorative Justice programs.
