Description

Offers assistance on a first come/first served basis. Helps to meet basic needs ranging from groceries, utilities, gas and bus vouchers, thrift shop and laundromat vouchers, and hygiene items. Provides choice of 50 dollar food card voucher/support for groceries (including drug store at Hannaford and City Market), bus passes, gas vouchers (Must have current driver's license and registration) OR 75 dollar utility payment assistance. And, if needed, thrift store vouchers and laundry vouchers. Referrals are also provided to other agencies that administer to needs beyond the specific services offered by JUMP. Due to limited resources, JUMP DOES NOT provide back rent assistance, housing deposits, housing, bus tickets, gas cards, cell phones, auto repair, sober housing fees, drug addiction treatment fees, or employment.
