Offers financial support to people with Parkinson disease and their families. Approved applicants may be granted up to $500 once per calendar year, which may be used for programs, services, and/or activities, such as exercise/wellness, medication, respite, assistance at home, transportation, and adaptive equipment.

The Vermont Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is a volunteer, non-profit agency that seeks to raise awareness about Parkinson's disease, assists with the formation of support groups, and offers a patient aid scholarship program. The National APDA works with the Vermont Chapter to facilitate support groups, provide educational opportunities, and engage in fundraising.
