CIVIL DIVISION | VERMONT JUDICIARY

Handles cases including evictions, foreclosures, breach of contract, land disputes, orders of protection for victims of stalking and sexual assault, medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death. The Civil Division also includes Small Claims Courts, in which individuals represent themselves in disputes involving damages of $5,000 or less.
