Provides access to reading material for all ages for those who cannot get to their local library. Stops at childcare and after school programs on a regular schedule. Visits from the Bookmobile include library story time/early literacy and professional development for early education providers.

Provides mobile library services that include a Story Time and summer lending program.

Provides professional development training for early care and education providers to learn about children’s language and early literacy development and fun, instructive, and engaging ways to share books with children. Participants receive free books suitable for use with newborns, toddlers and preschoolers. Programs are conducted statewide by experienced early childhood professionals.

Provides assistance to libraries in the form of training, program materials and promotional items for participants. The libraries in turn create story times focused on early literacy skills and readiness for school. Participating libraries bring early literacy experiences to children, parents and childcare providers. Provides the public with list of participating libraries.
