Provides limited funding for emergency dental care, prescriptions, and other medical needs, and a limited amount of gasoline cards for transportation to medical appointments if public transportation is not realistic. Other supports may be available for medical appointments at distant locations.

Provides financial assistance for abortion services. Provides a Telephone Helpline service that enables individuals who are pregnant to talk confidentially about their personal situation with an empathetic listener.

Provides financial assistance for those who could not otherwise afford medical, dental, and health and wellness-related treatment and expenses. Provides assistance for mental health providers, vendors, and service agencies, as well as for medical equipment and supplies, hearing aids, eyeglasses, and prescription medications.

Offers financial assistance for expenses such as medications, medical equipment and supplies, transportation, private care or respite care, nutritional support, clothing, and prostheses.

Offers an emergency financial program to assist on a case-by-case basis.

Offers services and programs to eliminate barriers to obtaining healthcare such as: financial assistance applications for healthcare, dental care financial assistance for patients who meet criteria, help with enrollment and management of pharmaceutical programs for free medication and vouchers, and transportation vouchers when needed to get to healthcare or wellness appointments.

Provides eligibility screening for financial assistance programs. Offers personal assistance to qualifying individuals in obtaining ongoing health care with a doctor at reduced cost or for free. Offers assistance with obtaining affordable medications and eye glasses and accessing community resources and state programs. Also offers assistance with managing health concerns through case management, coordination of care, and communication with health care providers.

Provides payment for or reimbursement of emergency suicide care, transportation costs, and follow up care at a VA or non-VA facility for up to 30 days inpatient care and 90 days outpatient care.

Assists families with financial support for respite care and unmet medical expenses.

Provides online information about HIV/AIDS and STI's, including prevention, testing, and referrals to health care providers. Also provides financial assistance for purchasing prescription medications for those living with HIV and may also help pay for insurance premiums, co-pays, and/or deductibles if eligible.

Provides monetary grants of up to $5,000 (with a lifetime maximum of $10,000 per child) toward a family's share of the cost of medical services when gaps in a family's commercial health benefit plan mean that a child may go without necessary treatment, or when the child receives care and the family assumes a large amount of debt. Covered services include deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, and services not covered by insurance. A list of services not covered by this program is available on the website

Provides direct financial assistance in the form of grants to either assist with medical bill payment, costs of transportation to treatments and therapies, purchase of medications and medical care needs, and other unexpected expenditures. The grants may also be used to meet regular household expenses during a time when a medical emergency disrupts the ability to budget for all expenses.
