Provides comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental retardation, autism, and other pervasive developmental disorders. VERMONT COMFORTS OF HOME | VERMONT COMFORTS OF HOME

Provides in-home placement services for individuals who choose to live in a family setting rather than a larger residential care facility. Provides in-home support services to the individuals placed in the home care environment and to the individuals, couples or families hosting them. Provides crisis and stabilization services to at risk youth and families. Assists youth with supports toward developing well-being, education, employment, permanent connections, and stable living environments as they transition to adulthood. Compass works with youth and their families to make a plan of care that will assist them in accomplishing their goals. Youth meet with a case manager approximately once a week. If a youth's family is available for services, they will have the opportunity to work with Compass' Family Preservation Specialist around normal adolescent development, verbal de-escalation techniques, mediation, and other approaches. Provides crisis management for enrolled clients and families 24 hours a day through a pager. There is a rotating staff member on call at all times.
