Provides coordination of educational materials and resource information for the purpose of expanding the knowledge and understanding of the needs of children being raised by caregivers other than their birth parents, to ensure that all people whose lives have been affected by adoption or guardianship have access to quality support services. Coordinates trainings to all post permanence service providers and facilitates conferences that are held annually for professionals and families. Provides an online educational resource library.

Provides an online resource center that explains the development and capabilities of children birth to age three and the importance of play as the foundation of early child development and learning, guides intentional teaching practices that address the uniqueness of each child, and contributes to a shared language and public awareness around the importance of high quality early childhood education and experiences. Includes an online calendar of trainings and events.

Offers apprenticeship programs for early childhood educators in order to gain education and experience in the field. Also offers pre-apprenticeship programs, which combine classroom-based learning and on-the-job learning, for high school students interested in a career in early childhood education.

Provides scholarships to access sports and recreation programs offered through its partner organizations. Funds activities such as skiing and snowboarding lessons, race participation fees, season/day passes at Stowe Mountain Resort, Nordic skiing at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, as well as swimming lessons, indoor rock climbing, movement classes, kayaking, and paddleboard lessons. Also provides grants to support advanced training for adaptive coaches affiliated with partner organizations.

Provides professional treatment training, consultation services, and bi-annual conferences to assist social service providers, educators, and caregivers in gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to serve children, youth and families with the most complex needs.

Acts as fiscal agent and provides services such as fiscal sponsorship, publicity, meeting space, and more to small social justice organizations whose missions align with that of the Peace & Justice Center (PJC).

Supports the professional growth of nonprofit professionals by organizing certificate programs, webinars, convenings, and workshops. Provides a job resource board of staff openings at non-profits.

Supports organizations in providing quality afterschool, summer, and expanded learning experiences. Provides professional development to afterschool, summer, and out-of-school professionals.

Offers on demand, recorded trainings that help professionals, family members, and other community helpers involved with caring for older adults develop the skills they need to function more effectively in the workplace.

Provides a professional and personal development program that inspires, educates, and engages existing and emerging leaders to better serve Upper Valley communities.
