Provides specialized short-term, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment for PTSD, alcohol misuse, drug addiction, anxiety, and depression as a consequence of their professional experiences. Treatment is offered as a remote clinical service.

Focuses on rural health care workforce development to meet the needs of communities and health care professionals. Related to workforce development, the center works closely with the University of Vermont in supporting medical students and their community faculty prior to, during, and after rotations.

Offers programs that provide students with opportunities to explore a variety of careers in health care via presentations, shadowing experiences, and hands-on learning. The Institute on Health & Medicine is a one-week residential program provided in collaboration the Governor's Institutes of Vermont.
